I wish I could have stepped right into a position in the office if it was offered to me. Instead of having to go through all of the paperwork and interview and all of that that I had done when I first was tired. I feel that if you have experience in that company you should be higher up in full-time hiring versus somebody straight off the street.

Managers would expect your knowledge bases as a new employee be that of a senior employee with 15 plus years of service. Undermanded and gossip is horrible. Manager was very unprofessional and backstabbing. AO didnt help out. There was a sense of commoradery when I was there. Programs include environmental quality, GIS, disaster, emergency, and defense programs. The incumbent provides basic farm loan program services and may perform additional farm loan program assignments based on authorities delegated. The work also includes performing office and field activities as needed to accomplish program objectives. Interprets and explains procedures, program regulations and forms to producers and other agency personnel. Uses a high degree of initiative and judgment in planning and carrying out assigned tasks and resolving problems encountered.

Why did you become interested in this career? I became interested in this career because I grew up on a farm and around farmers. I felt as though this would be a good job for me to help the farmers.
